Duck's Village Sunbirds

Summer 2008 Information Now Available!

At Duck's Village, our Summer Sunbird Rental Program is a unique opportunity for seniors to spend July and August in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Stay in an attractively furnished 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom apartment. Enjoy free access to an outdoor heated pool, indoor spa, fitness center, computer lab and other recreational facilities.

Conveniently located, Duck's Village is close to all the wide variety of shopping, dining and recreation Eugene and Lane County has to offer. Activities

Many outings and activities are planned each summer by our management team. Start your week in the company of your neighbors with Monday morning coffee. Enjoy golf and tennis; play a friendly game of bridge with fellow Sunbirds; or take part in river boat excursions around central Oregon.

In addition to the pool and spa, Duck's Village has a billiards table, recreation room, fitness center, and a computer lab.


Furnishings

Each apartment is attractively furnished with a sofa, a living room chair, a coffee table, an end table, a table lamp and standing lamp in the living room. A full-size bed, a desk/dresser unit with chair, a night table, and a walk-in closet are in each bedroom. Please note that we have one full size bed per bedroom, with no other size available. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove and oven, a frost-free refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave oven. Most of our units are equipped with a dining room table and chairs; however, our two-bedroom apartment has a breakfast bar and bar stools. View a virtual tour of Duck's Village here!

A limited number of Condo Packages are available to rent. Packages include items such as a color TV with remote control, bed and bath linens, and cooking and eating utensils.

Bedroom

Full-size bed in each bedroom with one set of sheets, one blanket, one mattress pad, one bedspread, two pillows and two pillowcases per bed.

Bath Towels, wash cloths, wastebasket, hand towels, bathmats.

We also have a limited number of telephones and AM/FM alarm clock radios if you forget to bring yours!

Not included

Items not included with the condo package that you may want to bring with you include an extra reading lamp and a VCR. The kitchen provides just the basics, so you may want to bring storage containers, casserole dishes, as well as other kitchen items you use on a regular basis.

Pets

We're sorry, we do not allow pets at Duck's Village. There are kennels located nearby for boarding if you need to bring your pet with you. You may contact Duck's Village if you need additional information.
